    MY MOM AND I

My Mom and i have always been close best of friends since i was a little girl. She is a true example of how a mother should be warm and generous always praying for me. I can always confide in my Mom she always stands by me. She has taught me to love and respect to care and share. I credit her with my ability to love my children so deeply. We are seperated by miles right now as i am in Florida and she in Ohio. We talk on the phone and e-mail but my heart aches to go home. We love to spend time together we always have fun we love to go shopping or out to eat or just sit around and talk. I miss her very much. But the best part of all is we share our love for Jesus and i know we will be together in Heaven someday. Laughing and talking, sharing and caring and loving my Mom and i......Sun

    AUNT SARAH & THE GIFT

My Aunt Sarah was a beautiful  soul loving ,kind and generous we were very close. I was born the day before her birthday she always said i could not wait another day to meet her. I remember at her funeral my cousin said that she had a way of making everyone feel like they were special and I thought" yeah I know but I was her favorite." Thats how she was in her later years *she lived to be 93 "she went to live in a nursing home.

I can count on one hand the times I went to visit her. Guilt ridden I made a photo album of all the old family photos she had given me. I had a picture of her when she was 18 a truly beautiful picture as well as pictures of her mother and father and all the old realitives . I intended to go see her and show her but i got wrapped up in my busy life. And than I got the call Aunt Sarah was in a deep coma near death. I went to the nursing home full of guilt and remorse  I did not get to show her the photo album and say goodbye.

When i got there they said Aunt Sarah is awake. I walked in that room trembling cluthing the photo album. She looked at me and her face lit up and she said I knew you would come I was waiting for you I love you . I showed her the photo album we scrambled for her glasses. I stood there bent over her bed looking through that album for an hour the joy on her face looking at those pictures was wonderful. I did not move i pulled all the mucsles in my legs she grew tired so I told her I loved her  said goodbye and left.

When I left that room I felt deep joy and sorrow deep in my soul I felt grateful I did not have to live with the deep guilt and regret that I never  got to say goodbye. I felt loved and cherished down to the core of my being. And thats when I realized that it was a gift. A gift from a loving, merciful, personal God  who loved me enough to give me this wonderful gift.  I choose to believe.

I am moved to tears yet again..... Thankyou Jesus
